 I have been working primarily out of my forum at Lefora and Blogger, but now that this subject/topic and Niche is growing I believe I needed to be at one locality and branch off to the other forums and blogs that I have established.

I hope to do more writing and blogging here and create a central location for those who are interested in finding out more about Women in Mid-life Crisis and Transition and all the many subcategories that are involved.

Amy, when the topic of Mid-Life Crisis comes up, most articles are slanted towards the Male MLF, which I salute you for recognizing that there remains an opposite angle to be considered, which are the Women/Wives aspect.

Could you please indulge a request and delve into more about a more youthful version of MLC, sometimes called Pre-MidLife Crisis? Specifically, in the early 30's with what I believed myself to be, an adoring and considerate Husband, whereby a Woman can jump off the cliff into the deep end due to some extreme traumatic life experiences, which in my Wife's case, would have been the untimely and premature death of Her Mother at the young age, IMO, of 54.

So much has happened that seems to be verified by countless psychological publications and well thought of experts in the field of infidelity and marital crisis, that a narrative of the past 2 years would make a compelling analogy to many others supposed unique situations, which in reality, are all too common.

I do tackle the QLC or Quarter-life Crisis quite bit over on the WINMLC Forum. I do have several husbands over there who have younger Wives then those who are consider in the Mid-Life(37-60 years old) realm. Whether it is a Quarter-Life or Mid-Life Crisis...the only thing that is really different a person is dealing with is probably age and those physical changes that occur when a woman or men becomes older. This is the very reason why Mort Fertel doesn't like the MLC or QLC labels....He prefers to call it Life Crisis at Mid-life or Quarter-life...Life can happen at any time...trauma or an abundance of triggers can catch a Life-crisis a fire at any age.

Please know that much of what I teach or guide people with can be adapted or used with even younger women and men. In the end, these life crisis experiences are much like Dorothy when she went off to Oz...I call it the Dorothy Syndrome and the journey is a Yellow Brick Road experience where the older Dorothy is yet again in search of her brain, heart and courage (Mind-Body-Spirit)....triggered by a need to "fly" away or resist the change that is inevitably occurring. Dorothy's are in search of their internal "Home", yet tend to use the external to get there. (I.E. an affair, addictions, partying, jobs etc.)

I previously had read a great deal on your other MLC Blog Forum, which is how I was re-directed to this new site. It seemed to insinuate that this would be taking the place of that forum.
